Case Study: Event Photography for Colmore BID
Challenge
Colmore BID is (among other things) a hub for business and professional service firms. As part of what they do within projects to help both businesses and consumers, they also host and organise a series of events throughout the year.
They needed a photographer to capture both their B2B and B2C events with a fast turnaround time.
Why me?
Quite simply, I reached out to the team regarding their event coverage and offered my services. While the event that I reached out about was already covered by another photographer, because I had made them aware of me, they got back in touch regarding future events.
Service provided
Over the years off the back of the first event I shot for them I have had the pleasure of shooting multiple events for them to help showcase Colmore BID events. This included small scale B2B social functions, and larger B2C events.
The way I would approach these events was to get an idea of what the BID required, where the photos would be living and when they would need them by so that we both had a clear idea of what was needed. I would also check in with the event lead during the event to ensure that if additional shots were required these could be done.
